At night they run around in packs...I guess they're hunting. At first it was frightening...are they going to attack us while on the deck or something?
Now they're just a reminder of our country life...we kind of like to hear their call...don't leave small animals running outside at night though...:-)
]]>When you live in the city you don't go from here to across the street without locking your door.
Warming your car up with the key in the ignition is a no no...you might go out and find it missing.
Well in the country people don't worry about that. People leave their front door unlocked all day..even if they're not there. That took some time to get use to but now...I can't remember the last time I locked the car door.
its nice to live where people are so trusting.

]]>In the city you turn on your tap and out comes water, with great pressure I may add.
In the country your water comes from a well...sometime dug...sometimes drilled..and the pressure..well the pressure leaves a little to be desired.
Water conservation is a must... because the well can run dry. I found that out when I accidentally left the toilet running overnight only to wake up to no water in the well.
So now we have learned to conserve water...which is never a bad thing..everyone should be conserving water. So now turning the water off when we brush our teeth is something we do.
